FRESHERS EVE:
With only few days in hand and we had the Freshers eve on 27th August. This was
to give the first years a warm welcome to KJSCE. It was a total blast! We had an
overwhelming response from the first years!!
The event was inaugurated by the traditional Somaiya Prayer followed by a series
of performances byThe gyrations team (dance) , the rhapsody team( the
dramatics), and the Node 19( the musicals team),Gliteratti( the fashion show)
stunned the audience with their performances!! At the end we had tee-shirt
unveiling done by our General Secretary. Along with the performances we also
had a few interactive sessions with our juniors where we officially got to rag
them!!! It was a great platform to know and acquaint ourselves with out juniors
and vice-versa (hopefully)!! and the grand finale for that evening was the Mr.
and Ms. Fresher competition where participants were asked some questions and the
final decision was made by the faculty present. It was surely a memorable
evening for one and all!!

GOKULASHTAMI :
Gokulashtami, our second event was celebrated in college I guess after a
considerable vacuum of 2 years!! It was totally nerve racking!! Anxiety,
excitement everything together!! For all the chaos, it was worth it because the
event turned out to be great!!
There was nashik dhol going on during breaking of thehandi. After a number of
failed attempts …and the ohh's and aahhh's from the spectators the guys finally
managed to do break it!! Phew!!
